Jan & Dave IssacWilliam Rose is an independent, family owned Butchers which moved to East Dulwich in August 2005, from Vauxhall where we had been since 1862, making it one of the oldest in London.

One of South London´s premier suppliers of Salt Marsh Lamb sourced from flocks that graze in Dulas Bay, North Anglesy. These lambs are generally leaner than most Suffolk Cross Texel and are a much sweeter meat. Available from June till September, after which we use Orkney Isle lambs for fuller flavours.

We offer an old fashioned service that can never be equalled by the supermarkets, in terms of range, quality and price. All our staff can offer advice on your needs, your meat will be prepared to exact requirements.

Our Free range and organic stock include Balmoral & Deeside venison, grouse and pheasant. From Wales Dulas Bay Salt Marsh lamb. Free range Hampshire & Duroc Plantation pigs. Organic poultry and succulent beef from the Yorkshire moors.
